Somewhere in the 100 Acre Wood lives a bear of very little brain He wakes up and says hello to his house and does his stoutness exercise And then there's a hungry sound "There's a rumbly in my tumbly I need to find me a little smackerel of something How about a pot of honey? Oh bother! I have no honey all my pots are empty Christopher Robin told me to head North That's where I'll find red balloons Nobody can be uncheered without balloons What a hummy day it is today Today is my favourite day It's the kind of day to go somewhere For a somewhere to appear from somewhere While heading towards nowhere It's the kind of day to do nothing Even though something is better than nothing But the very best something comes from doing nothing I love doing nothing with Piglet And Christopher Robin! Bother! Where are all my friends? Think, think, think" There's that hungry rumble again! Winnie the Pooh walks and walks and walks a...

Arnt

Ladies and gentlemen, Art about An ant. You will need: To find the origin of the loner ant's hiding home Safe holi colour in your favourite shade (I use yellow) Water to mix with the colour An empty injection tube How to prepare: Mix the water and the colour and add just about 10 ml to your injection tube Go the loner ant's hiding home Check the surrounding areas for loner ant If he's not in plain sight proceed to use injection tube right at the entrance of the home (or shall I say hole) (but then it goes somewhere else) Then wait After four hours or so ant should make an appearance (make sure the water doesn't dry up every hour) Loner ant will peek out, look confused because he will think "WTF how does a man leave?!" But ants don't mind a shallow pool and he should eventually swim cutely out of the holi water Then watch in sheer amazement as he creates the most beautiful art you'll ever see

Raper Pauper Reaper

The raper needed some tape and paper to properly write down all his raping sins while the tap outside dripped and then the reaper in his cape tripped and fell down that's what caused him to cough out some pepper all the while he tried miserably to prepare his dinner. The pauper sat on his lone stool in the lone subway and watched as the hours of the night slowly dragged on. The rats they seemed unperturbed as they scurried beside his stool. Two of them holding in their vile jaws the flesh of a man named Tyron whose decaying bits lay on the tracks all haphazardly. One of the mice was fatter and blacker and seemed to dominate the one following closely behind. The pauper, musing, imagined for 32 minutes mundane conversation about dinner between the two city mice, before falling into a deep slumber, his little finger pierced in his left ear and other fingers bearing the weight of his oversized head and feeling the moist bloody scabs of his 32 days since a wash, an unsanitary gutter w...

Bother Brother Breather Brothel Bladder Lather Broth

Betti was feeling particularly hot and bothered at the end of her hard work day at the brothel. As she sat to lather herself in the quaint little bath tub she felt like this was a breather she greatly deserved. Her brother sat in the foyer untying his shoes when suddenly he felt the urge to pee, his bladder engorging with 2 liters of pale yellow urine. He dashed into the toilet where Betti lay languidly in her tub the sounds of her breathing soft and mellow. As he relieved himself he realized he forgot all about the heavy meaty broth that was now quietly spilling over the edge of the earthen pot. As Bertie set the table in their dark almost formidable looking room Betti tip-toed her way in wearing her peach pink bathrobe, her feet still damp and soaked from her luxurious oatmeal and sandalwood bath. She dropped the expanse of her behind down onto the hugely dense and comfortable sofa and switched the stereo on. Tonight she was too tired to let the jazz special trouble her. Ja...

Love is, indeed, real

A woman aged 17, gentle at heart and sound of mind, and pink of health, got married to a man of 27, strong of build, and equally solid of character. This story is set in Mumbai, India. Slummy Mumbai might I add. It was like most indian marriages arranged very ideally by well meaning and sensible parents. Now let's name them since I didn't know of their names. The man seemed very Raju ish. And the woman seemed very Aradhana ish. Okay so, Raju and Aradhana lived a nice enough life and from the love they shared soon a baby boy was conceived. Aradhana, 19 and heavily pregnant was rushed to the hospital one early February morning when her water broke. Raju was at her side, at his supportive strong best. The doctors decided after hours of deliberation that a C-section would be the best course of action to take and Raju not being able to see his wife in the pain she was going through, readily consented. 22 years later, I was at that same hospital. It was my 7th or 8th visit in the ...

Yoga in Goya

I will always remember the day I felt one with the earth while lying on the grassy floor of the secluded grove in the middle of the undiscovered tropical forest listening to the deep sounds from all around and holding in my hand the rough, small and irregularly shaped rocks and remotely aware of my sense of self while gazing at the endless canopy of pine trees strong and proud below the limitless untouched sky that was so sparsely littered with stars, there was barely any space between them. I watched till my entire being, and all that I am aware of, drowned in a slumber so sweetly enchanting I felt I was floating and when my eyelids opened I was overjoyed to find that I was indeed transported onto the still calming waters of the vast ocean. Never moving, my body felt weightless. My mind even more light. This was what life was all about. Getting lost. Not finding yourself, not uncovering hidden truths, not having epiphanies, not discovering unknown answers to unanswerable innumerable q...

Charlie!

Alexis and Ellis sat on the porch of Alexis' Trenchtree outhouse. It had been three and a half months since the sisters met and it didn't seem like it for they shared a close enough bond that even time or distance wasn't a hindrance. There had been a torrential downpour for the past week on the Eastern part of the town of Uhbridge but here on the West it was dry like a basement. They had unfulfilled dreams, dreams that made them restless and nostalgic. Restless because a part of them felt like they could have been living different lives from what they chose. And nostalgic because of all the thorough plans they made at that very porch billions of years ago. Or so it felt. But they were not bitter. The siblings were content with what they were and what lives they created. The husbands they chose, the children they nurtured and the love they spread. So the sisters sat, both eating freshly plucked peaches from the peach tree in the yard. Alexis wore a purple coloured bonnet ...

Note From The Dead

Hey Jeremy, You know how they show it in the movies, that when you die, your life flashes before your eyes? Well that's bullshit. Ask me. I know. Because I am dead. If you've not noticed yet. When I died it was no dramatic affair. No colossal fight with it; no fight as such to survive. No loud noises. It was quiet when I died. And quick. I wasn't shot or stabbed. I wasn't murdered. I didn't take my life either. I was too brave for that. You know that. It wasn't a peaceful death. People should not confuse peace with silence. It can be really noisy and yet you can be peaceful. I just died, you know. Of course you don't. You're alive. No fancy heaven with angels after either. No after life. No God lounging in his blue-yellow pajamas on his cloud couch giving you the peace sign. That would be funny. I would laugh at his face if that happened. But it didn't happen. Nothing happened. I'm still here, except I am not here. I will be wait...

The Afterlife

Another SHE if you may. Although a little more vague. A little less profound. And farther away from reality. As I lay there on the low-lying mattress on the spring bed, the kinds you find in a dormitory, flashes of my life, rapid and vivid and painful memories, the kind that life can be summed up in swam through my mind. This was the perfect death. Ideal. Blissful. And in the pain I lay. He was there. And she held my hand. They were there too, but in the background, almost hidden from view. But I could see them. They would never escape from me. Not even now when it was because of them that I lay there bleeding to death. And suddenly, it all didn't matter. It was like a force so mighty I cannot possibly express in words, snatched from me my power. My medium of defense. My body. I was there. But I was not. I was stuck in a place where time seemed not to exist and nothing felt real but my own presence. It was a vacuum of nothingness. No color, no sound, nothing but the echo of a dist...

She

She is running down an endless staircase, all she can see is what's down. The stairs are crooked, she knows she must walk carefully lest she falls but she's wallking so fast it's almost like she's falling. She can hear the creaking sounds from the wooden stairs she's treading upon. There is darkness below, it feels like she's in a house, except that it's not a home, it's eerie, there is fear inside her gut, ever increasing. She knows she's being followed. Apart from running away from them she's also heading somewhere below; to something in the darkness below that's so tempting, and with the feeling of morbid fascination mixed with overwhelming fear she's falling and falling and falling inside this deep gorge of nothingness. Her mind is devoid of thought and she can't speak even if she wanted to. The Listeners will never hear her voice, for they are reading her soul. Then... THUD. There is a crash, a loud deafening crash that pierces ...
